Medicine Buddha

Known as Bhaishajyaguru, the Medicine Buddha is a revered celestial figure in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, embodying the healing power of enlightened wisdom. Residing in the pure land of Lapis Lazuli Light, he is depicted with a radiant deep blue body, seated in meditation, holding a bowl of healing nectar or myrobalan fruit. Having made twelve vows to cure illness and alleviate suffering, he is called upon for both physical and spiritual healing. His mantra and practices are widely used to purify karma, restore health, and guide beings toward enlightenment through compassion and inner peace.
